My dream is to make a positive impact by becoming a pediatric geneticist and finding cures for kids with rare conditions.
Ever since I was 6 years old, I've been interested in genomics and genetics. What I find amazing about genetics is that we can do so much for people, and revolutionize the healthcare system. I currently work at the Broad Institute at Harvard /MIT as part of the Clinical Genomics research team. My recent book recommendation in this area is The Code Breaker by Walter Isaac.
I have hearing loss myself and have always been fascinated by how complex hearing loss is and how it can affect people differently.
I am fluent in English/French/Urdu and continue my explorations in other world languages.
I worked with CCTV (Cambridge Community Television) to create animated and digital art pieces for them! This was over the course of 8 weeks, and I had a lot of fun.
I did a Marketing Internship with Harvard Student Agencies to market their products such as SAT tutoring and 1-on-1 coaching. This was over 2 1/2 months.
This was a full year internship that I applied, got accepted into, and did fully. I explored AR/VR, medicine, business, marketing, and cutting-edge tech while I was there.
I work with elementary schoolers a few times a week 1-on-1 helping with Math, ELA, and Sciences.
As part of the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, I was inducted into the Society of Torch and Laurel, which accepts less than 5,000 scholars every year. It is an organization dedicated to helping high academic achievers in high school get access for scholarships into college, and there is a sibling organization called the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

I founded Camp New Horizon, a virtual summer camp in the summer of 2020 to help middle schoolers moving to high school be prepared for success. It was a failed startup but I learned a lot from this experience.
Performance of Seala Kettle’s “This is Me” from the Greatest Showman in ASL.
I was a part of The Knowledge Society, or TKS, for a year, where I got to do many great things such as do case studies, explore upcoming technology, and expand on new topics of interest. I became interested in AR/VR and got to expand on ideas with other teens who were like-minded.
GirlsFix.com Start up Pitch I made in 6th grade at Women's Forum @ Cambridge Innovation Center.
